Summary:
Second Shift Position Under the supervision of the Production Manager is responsible for aiding team members through training, coaching and assisting them in achieving their job duties.
This includes encouraging and ensuring that team members work safely ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensure that team members work safely, produce quality parts, meet production goals and problem solves on the shop floor Ensures proper documentation completion for all safety and quality requirements Audit the team's performance Coordinate the manufacturing activities Ensures compliance to parameters, operator instructions for process control Teaches, trains, coaches and assist team members to create multi-functional employees Schedules shift production / overtime and mechanical machine change overs Gathers data, analyzes and develops strategies for MOS Gather and analyze MOS information Prepare the daily and weekly production needs report Reviews and corrects uptime / production reporting deviations Manage the workplace organization and housekeeping activities Attend production, safety, quality and current event meetings Maintain established employee relations policies and safety and health regulation Empowered to demand that others maintain the housekeeping standards at the plant level Performs other essential functions as assigned JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

or the equivalent.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Computer skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
Bi-Lingual Preferred MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to the floor, will exert 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 40 pounds of force occasionally WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal factory environment.
Employees will be subject to hazards such as loud noise from operating machines, physical hazards from operating or moving equipment and breathing of fumes and dust.
Experience Preferred 2 - 5 years:
Automotive Manufacturing Experience Education Preferred High School / GED or better in Manufacturing Skills Preferred Robotic Welding Plex Mfg Software Resistant Welding Computer Literate Spot Welding Welding Behaviors Preferred Thought Provoking:
