The Blue Gate Performing Arts Center is a 1500-seat premiere entertainment venue ranking in Pollstar's top 100 theaters worldwide each year and an ACM Theater of the Year Nominee.
In addition, the PAC presents over 100 national touring acts each year, attracting guests from every state and dozens of countries.
The Catering Manager provides artists & crews with the best dining and hospitality experience possible while efficiently using resources in this exciting environment.
The Catering Manager oversees all Blue Gate Performing Arts Center catering operations.
In this position, you will plan, prepare, and execute meals for entertainers, visitors, and groups from many parts of America and other countries.
The Catering Manager is also responsible for scheduling, supervising, and training the catering and concessions staff.
Essential job functions include but aren't limited to food quality and presentation, cost control, the appearance of the facilities, and guest and employee safety.
You will maintain a great work environment by promoting positive communication, leading by example, and having fun.
The Catering Manager can work full-time are part-time.
Fridays and Saturdays are required and are the longest work days each week! The pay range is $25 to $30 per hour based on experience.

Blue Gate Performing Arts Center Catering Manager Requirements:
A background in catering, event planning, or the food industry Experience planning, preparing, and cooking large quantities of food for diverse groups of people Time management and organizational skills Willing to work late nights and weekends (Fridays and Saturdays!) Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and cleaning Proficiency in safe food handling procedures Experience managing and controlling food and labor costs Experience in supervising, leading, and coaching a team Must meet the job's physical demands, including standing for long periods, working in high-heat conditions, moving, stretching, bending, and lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
